Okay folks, new rule:
Everyone has to work on christmas day... and no more slacking off on all those jewish, hindu, muslim, or other days either. Work is a public thing... you gotta go to work.
No more easter...
The only one everyone gets off is labor day. No more memorial day, that is remember wars that might of had some religeous overtones at some point, so that is off the list too.
There. Happy?
Slippery slope ends up with everyone swimming in lube.
