A giant menorah would have been as dumb as a tree, though. No need for giant religious monuments scattered around public spaces. Surreal and insane all around.
And for all the people who are taking this as a strike against jews, your ignorance is really ridiculous and pathetic. That people still are willing to make sweeping judgments shows what a failure of a job parents are doing by not exposing their children to other cultures. You end up with assholes with predispositions looking for an amount of evidential cases they can probably count on one hand. Prejudices are always inherited and nurtured. You people have to learn to think for yourselves, and stop weakly hiding in majority crowds and beliefs.
