How very interesting. You are probably correct, "attempts to terminate the processes of various antivirus and firewall programs." In my case the attempt was apparently successful. The "Amigos" are free to ride again in peace.

I orginally thought I had been hacked but this could very well be the culprit. If so, it snuck by Norton Antivirus and disabled Zone Alarm Pro, deleted the logs and apparently screwed up system files. I had to reformat.
