I'm also looking to do the southern california to florida move around this time next year.
About the only positive of california is the weather. Thats about it. High state tax, high sales tax, high crime, rude fake people. With so much overcrowding and inflated property costs, its just not a place I can see putting roots down.
I'm thinking of maybe the gulf side of florida. Naples maybe, but not sure. Or possibly a decent area somewhere between daytona and boca.
