Cherrylulu you can't be serious. You would rather deal with a quake were you get no warning over a hurricane where you know with todays excellent forecasting days ahead.
Did you miss the 87 quake in San Fran and the 94 quake. I was up in SF on biz 3 days after the quake there and saw destruction beyond belief. People were still buried under the collapsed freeways. The 94 quake was horrendous. 8 years later and I still can feel the sensation of that fucker in my bones. Our whole gorgeous house got all thrashed from it. And had it happened a few days earlier I wouldn't be here writing cause a place we were doing some video editing in collapsed completely.
Wait til the monster quake comes. Then you'll see everyone fleeing LA. Earthquakes never bothered me til that 94 one hit. So I know usually they aren't too bad. But I don't like going to sleep at night knowing my whole world can be thrashed without notice. Screw that. At least here if something nasty is coming you can get on a plane and get out of the way. And if you live inland in a well built house you're pretty safe here anyway, in most cases.
But to each his own I guess.
