I was born and raised in LA (mostly lived in SF Valley other than brentwood & santa monica) but now when I go back to visit family I don't think I could EVER live there again.
The color of the air is just plain wrong like 99% of the year! When I grew up there back in the 70s and 80s it was only the wrong color sky about 50% of the year.
Too high priced, too dirty, more crowded now, etc
so
on getting outta that joint!
However, as far as a move to Miami I'm not sure about that one either, I lived there for 14 months before Hurricane Andrew blew my lil casa away. I LOVED the city, people were nice & shit but dammmmmmmm the bugs & humidity drove me insane. I can't get used to living in a wet sauna 9mos out of the year...
So if I had to relocate I'd have to pick a few more cities to look at...
Have you considered San Diego? Santa Barbara? and the list goes on, even outside of Cali there's a lot of cool places...
I'm a fan of the desert so AZ was a fine move for me, left Pismo Beach about 3 months ago now. Nice up there but a lil 'too out there' and chilly for me....
