When people "convert" you they will make you choose between people important to you and the church. they will usually not admit to this but there is no way they could convert you if you were still with her and had her in your life. She represented the old you, what you use to do and would be too much temptation. It would be hard for them to compete with her so they needed you to move on, and either you dump her or they make you different to the point you are not the same person she loved anymore and she moves on. Either way, i don't need to read what she "said" this happens in all cases where people "convert".
