yes, large population and a nuke doesnt AUTOMATICALLY equate to being a superpower, but I think china has all the ingredients to become a superpower within the next 10 years or so. Everything we buy here in the good ole USA is made in china. China is in the position that the USSR was back before we were born, they already have the groundwork set, it just needs to be executed properly. That remains to be seen, but they certainly have the potential
I'm glad you disagree, it makes things interesting. Communism does not work, and i think the internet will be key in causing dissent amongst the people of china in the next 20-30 years. I do not think china will ever become a super power until massive social/political change takes place.

Communism does not work...period, ask the former USSR, and don't think a shit load of textile contracts & shitty consumer electronics parts can turn them into a superpower
