Mesa boogie dual rectifier's kick ass!

Line 6 has some great stuff
The new Marshall 2000 amps are a much better improvement from the originals a few years back
If you want a great heavy sound (less mids, thick warm distortion) try to find a marshall 800 with a metal zone pedal. Line 6 spider, or marshall jcm 2000 triple super lead.
