Yah, I am down with all that, my band plays all that stuff and also, we got a new keyboard player that IS all things motown and funk. Really tasty and a wide variety of tunes that are in the Blues-rock, funk, motown bag.
We played a few times at the Fringe Festival in philly here in the summer. I got a digital 12 track here at my house now and some signal processing gear, all my CD burnin gear, etc. Figured if I get some time off over the holidays maybe lay down a few tracks...
I also use a Martin 000-15 (new Maghogany model) that TOTALLY kicks ass and a 1978 Guild JFN-55 acoustic for playin the real deal, Robert Johnson, blind lemon, elmore james, etc.
