Yeah Tom, that is the first thing to do. Take down the content in question until you have some confirmation of the models personal information. Until you KNOW FOR SURE, preferably with bits of paper in hand proving so, that the model is legal and released you need to keep that content off the web. If you don't get the proof within a reasonable amount of time (say 2 weeks allowing for slow Christmas post) I'd chuck the content as fast as you can. You'll prolly need Internet Eraser or some shit like that (I'm not sure, I've never wanted to permanently remove anything from my system. Someone else may have a better idea) and make it like the content never existed in your posession. CP is nasty stuff like you say and even if you stop using the content, you don't want it hanging around on your system 'just in case'.
Edit: I didn't see the part about 'surfer' either. Just goes to show how we GFY'ers tend to skim rather than read.
Even so, you have nothing to prove to the surfer. BUT I can see your point as well. It is truly unlikely the average surfer will report you to the authorities. Most likely they'll make a big noise and then just go away. If they do pursue it though and the law blokes come around and you DON'T have the licenses, etc. in hand to prove the model is legal you could be in deep shit. Unless it is converting like fuck I'd prolly take it down anyway. You know as well as the rest of us that legitimate content is VERY easy to get a hold of - Fuck you make plenty on your own!
