Everyone has good and bad bacteria living in their body. Yeast infections are the overgrowth of yeast bacteria in the vagina. A lot of women get yeast infections after taking antibiotics because antibiotics kill the good bacteria along with the bad making it easier for the yeast to grow. Yogurt contains the "good" bacteria and eating it regularly will help prevent yeast infections but is also good in general for the intestines.
You can also buy Acidopholus in pill or liquid from which contains the good bacteria. You can ingest it or I've also heard you can INSERT it ;) Get out the turkey baster!
