its not illegal yet, banks have like 200some days to comply with the new law.
Banks are already rejecting wires from partypokers, i know a affiliate thats having problems getting money from party poker due to US banks rejecting wires from their bank. However canadian banks are taking the wires fine, just the US is rejecting them all.

And it makes perfect sense that Canadian Banks are taking the wires, since last time I checked, Canada was not run by the US Govt or governed by its laws.Comment

Oh man that sucks sorry to hear that BP, I had my accounts closed earlier this year at a Bank in Michigan we were using with no notice as well. I was moving several million a year thru this bank and all of a sudden they closed the account with no notice. They really didn't even give me a reason for why the account was closed as well.
Very scary when this kind of thing happens.

Wow, sounds like they were just waiting for a reason or an excuse to close this. Unreal. Ever since 9/11 and the Patriot Act, banks are using it as an excuse to do all sorts of invasions of property and reasons to snub your business.
From now on, I'd stick to banks that aren't national or have ridiculous policies and nazi employees. Find a few smaller banks in your area and spread it out. I hate how much power banks and other major businesses in the US have. Especially when they have you backed into a corner and you didn't even do anything wrong.

Bank of America is a bank for the masses. Stand behind 500 illegal aliens in line its a joke. Go to a bank where you get the treatment you deserve. My bank sent me a badass gift for xmas and thanked me for being one of their top 100 depositors.
