I guess you can't please everyone all of the time
We did have a recent issue where one of bandwidth providers declared bankruptcy. It caused a major issue with re-ip'ing all of the server on that portion of the network.
But we have our servers on several different providers. Only about 15% of the network was affected. Other than that, I can tell you our dedicated servers have 100% network acessibility at all times and our virtual servers consistently exceed 99%.
Are we perfect? Nope. But we do the best we can to keep our prices low, give better-than-average service and make our customers feel like they are more than a number.
Anyone who has had a bad experience can contact me directly and I'll give them free service to make up for their inconvenience. I have been in this business since 1994 and by no means have any intention of putting my customers in a compromising situation or making a customer pay for service they did not feel met their expectations.
I have never spoken with a customer in alomst 9 years that hasn't experienced problems at one time or another. Our philosophy is pretty simple: We tell you what is wrong regardless of whether or not we think you'll like our answer. We would expect the same from any vendor we use - and we extend the same honesty to our customers.
Like I said, anyone can contact me directly. I'll tell you whatever you need to know about me, my partners, my employees, our network, etc - complete disclosure. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.

P.S. We are cheaper than most because we've been doing this a long time and tightly manage our overhead and have flexible contracts to allow budget pricing
