to me, the idea behind being a dj, it take something someone else made and create new music from that
I never put a record on and just let it play, I always have at least 2 record playing at the same time, sometimes even 3 records....I like to remix on the spot
honestly though, 80% of the music you hear in clubs is specifically made just to be dj'ed.....majority of it never reaches an album, much less a label....
