Maybe if my bodyguard was murdered I would also have and want guns.
Just because a friend or employee is up to no good, that does not nor should it tarnish the other person and have people jump to assumptions that you must also be up to no good.
The league knows players possess guns. Notice the business card with DUI limits and gun possession rules that every player got?
little kids also should not be looking up to athletes anyways, it is just plain silly. Though he shot no one, wasnt waving it around at people, was just in his home, big fucking whoopdeedoo.
Lastly as for the pain meds, well um duh. He plays football.
