Sounds like a joke gone wrong. I used to install cable modems and I can tell you the only way you could do that job was to screw around. Everyone would fuck with everyone else, it's just one of those types of jobs.

I do know of that company 180 connect and we called them 180 rejects, one of their guys also killed some women in Orlando. She complained about his job and he went back, pulled all the wires off her house then killed her.
