Fleshbot isn't really a blog directory, but they do send mad traffic when they like you.
I like to use the pinging sites plus I use my handy dandy digg digger to pump up stuff there.
hahahahahahahahahaha is likely the best place for mainstream.
Keep in mind google likes to "find" you. If you are listed on every blog directory in the world it will hurt more than help.
