Qon, that started back at the very start. This business has always been about how much you can put over on the other guy, how much can be shaved off the affiliates and the totally smirk of laughter at the end when a program can buy peice with a beer, dinner, or a bottle of something for christmas.
Goes all the way back to the very start... There are people here who will remember Xpics raising payouts and the shave rate side by side... the rate of pay would go up 20%, and the shave would go up 30%. In the end, they were paying insane amounts of money per unqiue (like 18 to 20 cents) but the shave was so high that it was almost like the affiliates owed them money at the end of the week.
It hasn't gotten any better since.
I am not condoning the acts, just telling it like it is. IMHO, it isn't the nicest thing done, but we aren't talking about a piece of meat here, but a model, and a model who apparently didn't feel any commitment towards the first one in the door.
