when you rent a storage unit and do not pay your bill for several months in a row and they have no ay to contact you or you do not respond they have the right to hold auction. These are really pretty cool. You and a bunch of other folks stand about 5ft away from the door, they open it up and all you can do is look from where you are standing...then the bidding begins.
I have heard of many people getting VW's tucked under boxes, tools worth a ton of money and everything in between.
