Eventually every 3 letter .com will be worth good money ,
I don't know about 3 character though(meaning contains a number).
As more companies form there will be a company with the 3 letters you have .
Even if ABC was not a broadcast company and never bought their name, the ABC store chain in Hawaii still would have paid at least 100k for abc.com
One day somebody's going to need it.
