I know nothing about the matter at hand but:

State of NJ recognises ORAL contracts up to $500,
check Oregon statues

This letter has more holes from legal point of view than the fishing net

Unless the lawyer is a personal friend or member of the family,
the litigation, expert witness testemonies and discoveries will
cost 20-50 times more than the amount in dispute

I think we should do a non-binding GFY arbitration,
anybody wanna represent Plaintiff?
