and what if the guy can make the same amount of money shooting content that winds up on hosted galleries as he can flipping burgers and selling steak knive sets door to door? He's not getting out of your way.
as for 'serious content providers', i think if you go look and see whose content is being used on many hosted gallery setups you'll see they are serious content providers.

Hosted movie galleries popping up all over now too.
