Well... does their TOS say they'll take away your rebills if you stop sending them traffic?
If so, I doubt I'd have started promoting a company like that in the first place. My traffic is mine to do with as I please. So too are my rebills, or at least the sponsors I do promote think so. (I don't promote AFF, never have)
But for the sake of argument it's the way you're saying. Then I suppose I would gradually decrease my traffic to them, NOT sacrifice my rebills, and begin sending more and more of that traffic to a program that I know doesn't knowingly and willfully support the Zangos of the world.
But what I would NOT do is go on the boards defending actions I know are obviously wrong and not worth defending, income or no income.
