Yeah, in first gear it's not really driveable. From the moment you hit the gas you have about 1.5 seconds to shift into second (which I can't do fast enough most of time). But I take the car to race tracks and the extra power is really helpful for wannabe racers like me. The Viper is really hard to drive fast around the track, so I think I learn more with it than when I race my GT2 (which handles like a dream). Both my Viper and GT2 have about 660HP at the rear wheels (although the power curve is quite different between the two). The Porsche is very smooth with the power, where the Viper is brutal and breaks the tires loose a lot easier. I've done a bunch of suspension mods on the Viper to help, including Moton fully adjustable shocks and adjustable traction control.
