During the middle ages the Jews were used by nobels and kings to collect taxes. Some deflected their anger toward the nobility at this somewhat inclusive group and resented their what seemed to be favored status. As time went on jews just where good at what they did and where popularly accredited/ blamed for such inventions as interest. During the depression in Europe following WWI, when interest rates where at their highest and moral was at their lowest, fucked up crazy people used such mass resentment to fuel their fucked up ambitions. Still crazy that that shit happened less than 100 years ago.

Think people are much happier now adays with the t.v.'s and computer porn and do not have to do as many fucked up things like hang black people or kill millions of jews, gays and gypsies to get some perverse kick. Dude, definitely think things are moving in the right direction.
