I looked at the Vettes. I took one for a test drive. I couldn't get out of the damn parking lot because it was so low to the ground. Firebird? Yikes - Firebirds look more like a door stop than an automobile.
Camaro? Don't get me started with Camaros. I expect my car to have power windows and power locks.
The Mustang GT is a great daily driver.

Your first Mustang is the one that didn't suck.
I have never driven a Vette, but have driven Camaros and they are low to the ground. And I have not seen a Camaro without power everything. You have to special order them without power windows, locks, air, etc. Why? Have you heard of strip cars? Don't tell me you bought that 'purdy Mustang and don't drive the shit out of it? Take it to the track? Run 1/4 milers with it? Come on...LS1 can take extreme abuse, can't that 4.6 litre stand up to it?
Camaros, Vettes, Firebirds, Vipers, Ferraris are great daily drivers. If you know how to drive.
I drove a Mustang, and it is a great car to daily drive as well. But it was like sitting in a bus (my wife burst out laughing when she sat in it), and those cars are gutless.
I'd rather be low to the ground in a nice looking car, and a fast car, then in a dime a dozen car that a V6 Camaro could give a good run. Or a Subaru, or a Trailblazer, or a Dodge RT...where do I stop? Ford's fastest truck will rip a GT, their 'sports' car, a new asshole. Go figure!
This is just my opinion, no disrespect intended!
