Driven a Vette recently? Same shit. At least when I took one out for a test drive last month. I bottomed out driving out of the lot, and a dozen times in the next two miles.
One of my co-workers recently bought a Camaro. Nice car. Cost the same as my Mustang. NO POWER LOCKS OR POWER WINOWS

Never in my life have I driven a Ferrari. But if I could afford one, I would be able to afford to fix it if it scraped and caused damage. If I had to map my driveway, I would trim the fucking curbs. Can't he afford to do it??
Vette is probably the same way. Whippie. It is a low slung sports car, as is a Viper, NSX, etc. etc. There are obvious drawbacks. But who in the fuck would buy a Mustang because it has better clearance then a Vette or a Ferrari? Also, what were you rubbing when you drove the Vette? The exhaust? Rad support? Transmission crossmember? Catalytic converter?
If your co-worker bought a stripped Camaro, assuming it has the LS1, he will whoop your ass. Hell, fully loaded he will. A good driver in a V-6 Camaro will give you a good run! I would love to get a stripped Camaro (ls1) but they are a bitch to find. I would pick his car over yours any day of the week. Because in auto cross, or at the track, he will rape your sorry car to hell and back. Not stock for stock, but your mods against his stock car.
No bad blood, appreciate your opinions!
Cheers mate!
