There are other options.

Sponsors

Implement tools in their back ends to alert to CPV marketing/zango in their own back yards - freeze everyone one they find and don't pay them out.

If a sponsor uses external processing/tracking then sponsors should push for them to implement a solution. Is NATS, for example "zango aware"? Any programmer worth their salt can set up an alert easily.

Sponsors can also set up an off network zango machine and monitor their sites for zango pops from competitors

Or use a service like AffiliateFairPlay to keep an eye on the situation.

Then politely ask the competitor to remove offending webmaster - with a video capture if necessary. Worked well for me. If that doesn't work then call them the fuck out.

Webmasters

Don't promote zango accepting/using programs

They'll soon find their lifeblood is drained away. Zango is parasitic in nature, eventually it will bleed the program dry as it depends on genuine traffic to survive.

Without lawsuits, I don't see any of the above happening soon.
