the humorous irony of these conversations is that science ultimately seeks truth... no matter what that truth might be. the people making these "scientific" arguments in discussions such as these, are 100% incapable of admitting that there is another side of the argument, much less accept the possibility that they might be wrong. the idea and controversy of Global Warming is degrading from what should be a scientific discussion, to a cult.
