Well, I think the future of rebills will be not be no rebills, but a move to monthly reminders that (something like) "Your subscription to SexGoatDorm.com will be expiring on 01/16/03. May we rebill your card ****-****-****-4567 at that time?"

I think the CC companies just want to keep making money without so many chargeback hassles.
