Current Taxes, Fees, and Surcharges
All guest travel may be subject to the following taxes, fees and surcharges:
Canadian taxes, fees and surcharges
* AIF - Airport Improvement Fee, Canadian Airports only, up to $20 CAD
* INS - Insurance surcharge, Canadian domestic travel only, up to $6 CAD
* ATSC - Air Travellers Security Charge, Canadian Listed Airports only, up to $17 CAD
* NAV - Navigation charge, Canadian Airspace only, up to $40 CAD
* GST - Goods and services tax, GST is a 6% tax on the supply of most goods and services in Canada.
* HST - Harmonized sales tax, HST (14%) generally applies on Canadian domestic flights that originate in a participating province (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland)
* QST - Québec sales tax, QST (7.5%) generally applies on Canadian domestic flights that originate in Québec.
United States taxes and fees
* PFC - Passenger Facility Charge, United States Airports only, up to $4.50 USD
* September 11 Security Fee, United States airports only, $2.50 USD per enplanement
* United States Arrival/Departure Tax, up to $30.20 USD
* INS / USDA - US Immigration fee ($7 USD) and USDA passenger fee ($5 USD) - ($12 USD combined). Applicable for guests arriving in the US
Passengers travelling to and from the United States are subject to a combination of Canadian and American taxes, fees and surcharges.
International taxes, fees and surcharges
* PDT - Passenger Departure Tax, Bahamas Airports only, $15 USD (charged to all guests departing The Bahamas on international flights)
