As some of you know, I dropped this panel originally because I felt as though I would not be able to contribute. However, CCBill and Monty worked together to really gear this seminar towards all aspects of Marketing, which includes educating webmasters on how new tools are useful to their specific sites (blogs, rss, syndication, flash embeds), how to sell what you offer, when to sell it, and I am sure a lot more.
I am not concerned with board popularity, I don't offer a lot in how to make oneself popular (the original reason behind my dropping out of the first seminar). My job revolves around developing products and tools based on trends and then pitching those products to the webmaster community via various means, which includes: Education through tutorials, private meetings, icq, boards such as GFY and JBM. I am not only excited to discuss these things, but also happy to be back on this panel. My job is strongly consumer based, something I hope we touch on as well.
This is a great, well rounded group of people and companies. This seminar is very broad (something I enjoy) and should really appeal to a lot of different areas.
Thanks to Monty and The Phoenix Forum for having me. I am excited for the opportunity and look forward to seeing all of you.
