It seems the cause of all the problems may be in my kidneys and that's as far as the medical sleuthing has gotten; I'm scheduled to see a kidney specialist on the10th.
No idea what's wrong with the kidneys and what might be done about them but I'm hoping.
I've had slighyt inprovement in vision since the brain drain (spinal tap) , I still can't see what I'm typing but I managed to log in and find the "new thread" button. Doc says my optic nerves are badly swollen and the swelling could take weeks or months to go down.
He's not making promises about my vision... The ophthalmologist said there was permanent damage, my neurologist says in cases like mine the damage "usually isn't" permanent. I guess I can flip a coin.
Thanks for "listening". I don't get to do much but whine and bitch these days, although I'm working on some alternatives. ;) Just kidding, I installed a washing machine today... made me feel pretty good.
Hoping to be back soon.. catch you all around.
