I tell you it sucks to be on the other side of this too. You order some work and pay for it then you wait. I guess as a customer I do not mind paying upfront as long as the amounts are smaller and the person has reputation that they want to protect. Just very hard to send off the money and hope something shows up.

As for how long. Do everything to contact them and if nothing comes of it and sounds as if this is weeks old which is much longer then I would wait. Out them and hope it gets results.
