It's more logically sound then the pot argument.
SUVs are a fucking joke.. A modern SUV gets the same or less gas mileage then a 70 GTO. Yes, that's right, the muscle car from the 70s has better efficiency then the 03 monster SUV.
If you make me I'll cite specific numbers.
Problem with SUVs is the bastard auto makers are exploiting a loophole in the law.. They're classified as "light trucks" which makes them exempt from the same standards that cars get.
If you don't think SUVs are a problem, chances are you own one and have never been behind a Navigator driven by a single white guy.
Not to mention the whole fireball deathtrap aspect of a lot of them. Kudos to Fords (I believe it was Ford?) PR department for putting the blame on Firestone, when it was their damn shitty SUVs that were flipping and killing people because of a simple blowout.
Bah, fuck SUVs and the little dick motherfuckers that have to have them.
