Mid 90's when I first got a computer and got on AOL my brother downloaded a trojan and our PW was stolen. I called AOL and was on hold for like 45 minutes. Finally got someone on the phone and explained what had happened. I was clear in stating that someone was on my account that wasn't supposed to be and after about an hour of being put on hold and explaining the situation to 400 different people they finally realized I was the victim and not someone calling to confess that I was stealing other peoples accounts. After they realized this they told me I would have to wait until he signed off and get on my account and change the password. Then to download some free trial of their recommended virus scanner to get rid of it. They also wouldn't clear the TOS violation the guy got on my account.
