I understand the feelings that go on when the tempers get going but nothing that has been said justifies keeping money that was not rightfully earned. (No, even his threatening you does not justify ripping him off)
If your profile is correct then you are 21 years old. Way too young to be throwing away your reputation in this industry or any other. The programming community is not as large as it seems and karma does have a way of coming back and biting you on the ass.
Just my (again) from an old fart who has been around for a while.

karma is a bitch, and thats why this is happening to him, do i really care if i lose reputation in the programming biz? no, why? because before i took the job for him, i decided i was gonna stop doing jobs for others, because of idiotic clients such as him, i only took his because he begged me to do it, and i was sick of hearing him bitch and whine asking me to do it... i do jobs for myself and friends as favors, thats it... hes not gonna see a penny from me, because of the way he handled himself.
