When you're that early into a relationship and you have a kid it makes things a lot harder. You guys are still trying to figure out your relationship now the honeymoon period is over and you either come together or move apart but add a kid into the mix during this time and it makes it a lot harder becuase the focus moves more towards the kid - especially for you significant other.
I am in a pretty similar situation right now. I would seek counseling if I was you. At least then you can say you've done all you can to try and work it out.
