Yes you do but take his toys away before you go to bed. If you honestly think he ate it take him to the vet right away. There are certain chemicals in the materials used to make some dog toys, like PVC (polyvinyl chloride, a toxic chemical), processed materials or those made using pesticides and growth hormones. If left in the body the dog could die.
This is why you never leave a dog unattended with a toy.
Also rawhide is a no no for dogs as they can bite of large pieces and choke on them.
