From the models I know, more are business savvy then not. As a whole group, I am not sure. I am not going to assume either way on them. I just do not like on here how people just assume content are stupid and worth nothing more. That is a very poor attitude to have toward anyone.
I am bumping up your generous 85 percent to 90 percent. I just read in another thread where someone posted that only white middle aged people watch the news. Sadly other people agreed they do not watch the news or read newspapers.

Content is worth what someone is willing to sell it for within reason OR (in most cases) what someone is willing to pay for it. So, in that context it's the law of suppy and demand.
Adult models, athletes, musicians, actors, etc are low on the totem pole when it comes to business savvy in general. For the most part, there are thousands, tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of people trying to "make it" in these professions and very few of them rise to the top. Even fewer parlay their success into something even bigger ... like ownership.
The production companies, team owners, labels and movie studios are the ones with business acumen.
