Build a site with good content that has something the surfer needs enough to pay for. (This is the part that fucks most people.) Build some nice tools that everyone else has. Submit it to all the review sites. Go on the boards and tell people about the latest girl you shot. Affiliates will simply sign up and try it because it's new.
Traffic will come, convert and affiliates will continue to promote it.
Sit back and wait for the money to roll in.
If your site is the same as the average porn site on the Net, yes you have to advertise it to death. But the test is whether the traffic converts, if it does then you're sitting pretty, if it does not affiliates will wander off to better pastures.

Your formula is a gross miscalculating, at best. Of course, you know that too, but it's part of your strategy to get more exposure.
