But If It's a Hot Spot and the connection is being shared openly with the public then their giving it away...
In an effort to attract clientel (hello) marketing gimmick, and it works...
just like when U see store employees giving away physcal goods in front of the biz in an effort to get people to come inside and buy /spend money...
They don't give that stuff away and then call the cops and have you arrested cause you decided not to go in, and walk away instead
So for every one using it outside theres one inside buying sumthin..
thats the price / consequence the biz pays / takes...
Otherwise why make it public just supply the paying customers with the password
