It's not abou securing a network. Obviously the cafe offer free wi-fi. I'm assuming it was meant for CUSTOMERS. All this dude had to do is buy a cup of coffee and and guess what, he's a customer. Show me how a busines can offer free wi-fi to customers ONLY withot having said customers go through hoops? You can't.
