Have you already forgotten that Macs had to switch to Intel just last year because they couldn't keep up with PC's? That they were demonstratably slower? (to any reasonable person, not macolytes)
Macs may have referenced 1984 in their advertising but I swear it's their followers that use doublethink.
Both platforms have issues.. it's really a matter of preference. The tool isn't going to help you do anything you couldn't do on either machine.
Personally I'm not really into production line products so I'm not really into macs. I like to be able to make my own system and prefer to research every part rather than blindly following what a company suggests I buy. But they have come a long way in the last 5 years and I did contemplate a MacBookPro went I got a new laptop last year. Just the screen/res were bigger on the highest end PC laptops at the time and in the end I didn't have any real reason to change.
