i do know that the best athletes I know never had much interest in watching sports. most sports writers and broadcasters were the kind of athletes as kids who were the last kid picked for a team or never made a high school team.
i was in the middle, good enough to make teams but not a star - i appreciate the amazing talent guys have. i have played some sports with ex-pro's and it is amazing how much better than they are than even a good weekend warrior type.
