First off. I hope she did at least a poor mans copyright on those before she put them up. Poormans copyright is basically you go and get a notary to verify a document with your lyrics and signature stating the date the song was written etc. You include the lyrics and a copy of the song and you then send it registered mail to yourself and leave it sealed. The first song has really good lyrics, great melody and a good hook. My only suggestion would be to shorten it by about 40 seconds if she wants to try to get it published. First song is pretty commercial, and she would have a chance of getting it cut by an artist. Second song is also good, but a bit folksy to be commercial.
Her voice is beautiful, and you can tell she has performed a lot for other people in her life.
