When we were kids she won the Nashville Country Music Songwriting Award..
The promoters wanted her to go on tour and swore she would make it BIG...
BUT...
she had 3 small children and was a single mother.. so she turned them down...
she did not have to turn them down... she did it for us kids

Just an FYI I live in Nashville because of that reason.
I took 3 years or so off from writing, and just started having co writing sessions again a few months ago. My co writer and best friend just got his first cut. Hit me up on icq if you want to hear it and Ill link you. It was cut by Tommy Joe Wilson a new artist and his album will be launching in a few months. His cut should be the 2nd or 3rd single released on the radio, so its a big deal for both of us if you know how Nashville works. Takes a hit to get you in the door hehe.
