As someone pointed out a couple weeks ago (
http://www.gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/735838-lustybucks-camguest-com-scammers.html), LustyBucks doesn't seem to be on the up and up. My story is similar to the others in that thread.
Beginning of May we saw their $150 a signup promo. Put them up on our site and sent 21 sales in about 4 days ($3,150). Received this from their affiliate manager then:
Quote:
[13:16] Julius: Hi, it is Julius from Lustybucks. Unfortunately, we have to close your account due to the large number of suspicious members you've sent to CamGuest.Com. You'll be paid your earnings ( excluding the revenue for voided/refunded/chargebacked sales ). Please note - we no longer accept the traffic coming from your website.

I asked how many of our signups were "suspicious" but never received a response. It is worth noting that our traffic is strictly search traffic and all for cams. We have sent thousands of sales to all the major cam sites like PussyCash, MoneyTree, Webcams.com, StreamRay, AWE, EpicCams, etc. We haven't had this problem arise with any of them, and in fact, most have said our traffic was above average.
My assumption is that their promo was simply more than they could afford. With a site that only offers a handful of live cams that don't work in Firefox, they were probably not getting the type of rebills they wanted and deemed those sales suspicious. Nonetheless, I assumed we'd be paid for at least a handful of the signups (hard to imagine cam search traffic would be that fraudulent). But we haven't received a penny, despite them telling us otherwise.
It's only a few grand, and to be honest, we held back on traffic because we kind of figured the $150 a signup was a little shady. So this thread is just a warning to those who get excited when they hear about their next promo. They simply aren't paying some of their affiliates.
And so this hits all the searches: LustyBucks, Lusty Bucks, CamGuest, Cam Guest
