Depends.

What I have on my desk now. All these can be found at Amazon and some even have big jpegs of sample pages the links are too long and wopnt work here but look up each title at Amazon.

Satanism: A Guide to the Awesome Power of Satan
by Wade Baskin

this is more an encycolpedia of names and dates and events ranging from with burning dates, and people who influenced the flourishing of evil into modern times, such as writers, etc. very easy to look up names like Zoraster, and get an answer to who he was. Awesome to have, if not just for the names. If they were cool, their name is in this book along with what they did. heheh

Aleister Crowley: The Beast Demystified
by Roger Hutchinson

Awesome read on Crowley. Everything from his childhood to all his practices formulas, dreams, visions, chantings, all the Crowley nonsense one could need, or care to filter through.

Satanism and Witchcraft: The Classic Study of Medieval Superstition

One of the best. A classic study. Pure unedited facts (as much can be told) about things that have happened in the past, such as...the first stories of nuns being possessed, and coming to find out it was a priiest who had been fucking them since they were 13, old school religious facts. They were the nuns of Loudon in 1633, as well as the nuns of Louviers or Madelaine Bavenet. Shit looking up those 2 events alone will make you want to buy this study.

What better than a priest who raises a flock of nuns, i think 23? From ages of 13 in a convent, he grows them up fucking them and telling them they are possessed.

Good read.

The Black Arts by Richard Cavendish

Another classic read. I found my copy in an old bookstore, but its another old book with plenty of just straight knowledge. No bullshit, just dates, times, and thigns people did etc... awesome info on numbers, and a very cool Baphomet plate print on the first page from Eliphas Levi.

Plenty of unanswered things, this is all i read about.

I have the first edition from 1967 so mine doesnt look like this. =)

I collect books. Have an awesome vintage used book store up the street , find the choicest editions on my favorite subject.
